Remembers (places):
The Easter and Witsuntide parade in High Hazels Park, the new ABC theatre where my family all went to see Ben Hur. I remember going to Millhouses Park and playing in what seemed like the never ending paddling pool. Playing draughts with my brother in High Hazels Park and then going in the little boats there. Remember the garden fete's.

Comments:
The wonderful woods of Handsworth where Janet Hitchens and I used to pack sandwiches and hike down to Woodhouse. What an adventure. How I loved Brook Secondary School and the teachers there. My favorite teacher at Athelstan was Mrs. Warhow(nee Whippie). She was so lovely. Riding 52 bus to town with my mum. My Uncle Gilbert was a Sheffield bus driver. I used to love going to the library and to the Moor with my mum when I was little. What an amazing time for a young child. Going to the seaside was my number one thrill. My brother and I used to challenge each other to see who would see the sea first. England, beautiful England!
