Getting the cane a lot (deservedly), Scouts at St Mary's, Number 52 bus home, Commer 2-stroke lorries climbing Handsworth Hill, 'death rides' on trolleys down it; trams in town, 3-ha'penny bus fare, ha'pennorth of chips. Snow. Days were longer then, and everything was taller.

Comments:
Was granted planning permission to be a three-bed detached dwelling in 1974; opted for the career option of replacing internal organs with a gas turbine. Amused by framleyexaminer.com. Think there might be something funny in the water.
