Teachers - Mr Snell and his tales of Filey fishing trips, Miss Higgins, Miss Clapham, Miss Reilly, Canon Moynihan, Fr Daley, Miss Coultish (who gave me a lifelong inhibition about art which I am only now overcoming!), Miss Hinkins, Mrs Green and Mrs O'Halloran (dinner ladies who doled out only 2 pieces of toilet paper at a time).

May processions and June processions, Gough's sweet shop at the bottom of Elmham Road for penny and tupenny drinks, the "rec", bluebell gathering in the woods on Ascension Day (day off school), Kieran Dowling thumping me in the stomach at the bus stop for no reason at all, cheese pie for dinner, Whit processions in High Hazels park, the tuckshop in "the hut" - Junior 4's classroom, going on the boating lake in the park.
